Two potential causes of fatigue during exercise are depletion of muscle carbohydrate and also mental fatigue (brain fatigue). Caffeine has been demonstrated to promote mental alertness and also to stimulate fat availability - which, in turn, can spare muscle carbohydrate.
Xplode is an innovative product which, in our view, is a great 'pick me up' shot to drink 20-40 minutes before training. It contains caffeine, taurine, acetyl l-tyrosine and vitamins B6, which are all provided to help improve mental concentration and alertness. In addition, there are arginine AKG and beta-alanine for increased muscle blood flow (muscle pump), and acetyl-carnitine for potential fat burning. A combination of nutrients packed into a tasty 60ml 'shot' which helps to maximise training or boost competition.
